Ewan McGregor reveals everything you should know about Obi-Wan
It’s showtime for that Ewan McGregor. Literally!
Showtime has tapped Obi-Wan Kenobi Amor stars in a TV adaptation of Towles’ best-selling novel A gentleman from Moscow, E! Got the news.
McGregor is set to play Count Alexander Rostov, who “after the Russian Revolution, finds that his golden past has led him on the wrong side of history,” the network said in an Aug. 25 announcement. However, the narrative also teases that, through this journey, Rostov will discover “the true value of friendship, family and love”.
McGregor doesn’t just act A gentleman from Moscow, As he is also serving as an executive producer, an opportunity he is thrilled about. “It’s an amazing, wonderful story,” McGregor noted in a statement, “and I’m so excited to be playing such a great character.”
It’s McGregor’s latest foray into television, reviving his beloved Obi-Wan Kenobi Character for one star wars miniseries on Disney+ in 2022. He also famously portrayed Fashion designer Halston for Ryan MurphyIts biographical drama is ongoing NetflixFor which McGregor won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2021.
Still, that’s not the only big role on McGregor’s horizon, as he stars in Guillermo del Toro’s Sebastian J. Will play cricket Pinocchio too movies for Netflix. (For the record, this is different from Disney+’s upcoming adaptation starring Tom Hanks.) You’ll also see him in EverestA film about real-life mountaineer George Mallory.
